Family Portrait Preview- New Smyrna Beach Family Photographer

Family Portrait photography at Old Fort Park in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I met up with the Hoffman family in the late afternoon to make some great family portraits using the run-ins commonly called 'The Old Fort' as the background.  While the real history and origin of th sold stone foundations has been lost to history, it still makes for a neat background location for family portrait photography on location in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

2013 Year in Photos: Florida Photographer Peter Arnold's best shots

From President Bill Clinton to each Bride and Family photographed this year.  I was busy, all added up there were tens of thousands of photographs that I shot this year.  Not only of my brides and grooms, families and children, seniors and a friends.  I shot close to 50 graduations, about a dozen Marathons and Half-Marathons.  Traveled to NC twice for shooting assignments which included Graduations, a Wedding, and a headshot photo shoot for an actress that has co-starred with Sandra Bullock, and Tim McGraw in the feature film The Blindside.    As I'm sitting here finishing out 2013, waiting for the last wedding album to be delivered, and pulling all my business information together to file Sales Tax and income Tax paperwork, and as plans for 2014 are starting to come together (ahem... Video..., well we'll see what happens)  I wanted to share some of my personal favorite images all shot by me this year.  Please leave a comment, and let me know what you are grateful for in 2013, and a resolution for 2014, and I might pick you for a complementary portrait session.

New Smyrna Beach Portrait Photographer: The Stewart Family

I first met the Stewart family when they asked me to shoot some beach portraits for their daughter's sweet 16 birthday party (Check out those photos by clicking here).  So this year when the grandparents were making the trip to visit all the way from England, they asked me to meet them again to shoot some great family portraits as a gift for the grandparents.

As it turns out with a bit of a scheduling shuffle we were able to make the portraits happen right on the beach on a day when the sunset just lit the sky up the vibrant pinks blue colors.

Here are some of my favorite images from their photo shoot.

As always more information can be found on my website if you would like to book your own family portrait session.

Have a great day,

New Smyrna Beach Family Photographer: The Woolslayer Family

Sometimes I fall a bit behind on getting blog posts put together and posted, but I hope to be caught up soon.  Which means that there are a lot more great photos to come soon.  Here are some of my favorite shots from a family portrait session that I shot some time ago.  I met the Woolslayer family at North Beach Community Park in New Smyrna Beach, FL to make some great family portraits on the beach.  The weather had been a bit questionable that day with a bit of rain and overcast skies all day, but the sky cleared up just as we were getting started.  The family was great, and we were able to get their photos in, just before we were swarmed by mosquitos at the end of our shoot… Welcome to FL.

As always, you can find out more by checking out my website and social media sites by clicking on the links below.

A Wedding at The Gardens at Gray Gables: Florida Based Photographer

A Summerfield, NC Wedding by New Smyrna Beach, FL Wedding Photographer Peter Arnold Photography

On a late afternoon in a quiet little Summer wedding ceremony in the northern piedmont of North Carolina, Katherine and Michael both said "I Do".  The ceremony and reception held at The Gardens at Gray Gables, which is just about as perfect a venue as there could be for intimate wedding ceremonies with your closest family and friends.    I first met Katherine while we were both at Catawba College not too far away in Salisbury, NC.  When Katherine asked me to photograph her wedding, I was not only honored, but I jumped at the chance to return to NC even if only for the weekend. Some of my favorite images are in the slideshow and can be seen below.
